After two successful District Danube Conferences in 2003 and 2005 in the beautiful Tatra Mountains in Slovakia, now we have invitation from the historical town of Szombathely in Hungary.

The Hungarian Conference Committee has already made a lot of good preparations, and has come up with the excellent Idea: that we should start the conference well before our actual meeting by communication here on this web-site online.

I really hope, that all the Clubs in District Danube will take part in the 3 rd Danube Conference between the 12 th and 14 th October 2007.

I very much look forward to this conference in Szombathely, where we will share:

•  fellowship
•  culture
•  inspiration - and hopefully much more.

The main theme for this Danube Conference will be:

“Chances of the civil society in the post-communist countries – Roles and challenges of Christianity and Y'sdom within the civil society.”
